iPhone 3G – faster, cheaper and with more features that ever!
iPhone 3G

It’s been quite some time, filled with many controlled leaks, but Apple finally decided to unravel its iPhone 3G. What the new model provides are: thinner edges, full plastic back, flush headphone jack, and the iPhone 2.0 firmware (Apple introduced some serious improvements after receiving much criticism about the firs model). Clearly 3G is at the forefront, but Apple is also making sure it’s available all over the world, works with enterprises, supports 3rd party applications… and does it all for cheaper. Apple assures its 3G speeds leave the competition behind, with pageloads about 36% faster than the N95 and Treo 750. Obviously it also completely beats the old EDGE data speeds.
Battery life won’t be wasted or shorter though, as the new iPhone provides 300 hours of standby, 8-10 hours of 2G talk, 5 hours of 3G talk, 7 hours of video and 24 hours of audio. GPS is also improved. Apple is adopting A-GPS, which adds information from cellular towers to regular satellite GPS data for faster location. (WiFi data is also included into the process, which should provide you with a very solid lock on your actual position.) Apple plans to launch the new iPhone 3G in 70 countries this year.
The new model will come in two varieties: the black 8GB and the 16GB available in black or white. If you’re really eager to buy this amazing device you’ll be happy to know that Apple is releasing it on the 22 biggest markets, including the US, on July 11th.
You are probably wondering how much the new iPhone is going to cost? As always the actual price of iPhone may be different depending on the shop. The price offered by Apple Shop is fixed and quite high, but if you’re smart you can look thorough the web to find some more attractive offers. Personally, I recommend buying the new iPhone and all other Apple devices from Amazon.com, as they offer both reliable, fast services and a very reasonable price, often with great discounts for customers.
